Purpose of the Center is to discover, and to analyze topics connected to the sustainable developments and to make them available to the scientific community and the public. The Center seeks to deepen the knowledge in the realm of the lasting sustainable development and of its practical application. The scientific community and the public will benefit from the Center’s expertise.
Increasing the effectiveness of economic endeavors while enhancing the quality of human life were the guiding ideas of Gregor Mendel in the second half of 19th century, and this legacy is the blueprint for the Center.

Research, publication, promotional, and educational activities in the field that support principles of a lasting sustainable development.
